Dennis The Dragon
This used to be my favourite childhood book and my dad used to read it to me every night before I went to sleep. My copy of the book is kind of old now and to be honest, falling apart! I have been looking everywhere for a new copy as they are now out of print. I have recently found one on ebay and have put down a bid. Hopefully the copy that I have bid for is of good quality as it is a present for my pops for chrimbo. If it isn’t does anyone know where I would be able to get one?

Pacific Trash Vortex
I remember hearing sometime ago that in the Pacific Ocean is an island, which is twice the size of Texas, made entirely out of rubbish! like plastics that can’t be broken down. I found this video the other day and apart from being a very clever mockumentary it is extremely shocking.
What do you think about it?
Who needs staples any more
Over at ElectroFlip they have created an Eco Stapler which works by cutting out small stripes of paper and using these to stitch pieces of paper together. Not only is this good for the environment but you also save money on staples. It’s a win win!!
Did someone say Type Trumps??
Probably one of the geekiest things I have seen but by god it’s good, if of course you love typography. It takes the well known game of top trumps and applies it to well known typefaces like Futura and Avant Garde. It contains categories like Designer, Foundry, Year, Price and Legibility which you use to try and beat your opponent with. They were created by Rick Banks of Face37

Design a Day
For a period of two months I decided to create a new design everyday. The illustrations I created were mainly typographic based with a fair few pattern designs. The final outcome came in the form of a 200 x 260 perfect bound book. It is printed on 150 gsm silk paper with a 270 gsm silk cover and it contains 66 seperate illustrations over 87 pages. For all you surfers out there
If you ever find yourself in a place wondering if there are any good surf spots around then visit wannasurf as it contains countless number of spots around the globe added by surfers regularly. It contains pictures, directions, description and general details about the places and the locals.

I recently went to Reading Festival and saw one of my favourite comedians at the moment, Milton Jones. He didn’t disappoint. The clip is him from the BBC Music Hall Meltdown. Enjoy.
