Top Ten Illustrators

Kate Moross – I came across this girl recently and was surprised how much she has done at such a young age but yet again looking at her work its not surprising, she is really talented. She mostly works by using hand drawn type and shapes/patterns and bright colours, however her computer style graphic are just as good as her hand drawn graphics. She has worked for many clients like Cadbury’s, Ford and many more.

Alex Trochut – I came across this guy when I saw and fell in love with the rolling stones album cover which you can see below. So i gave his site a little visited and saw some great graphics on there. I was unable to put some of his best work on there because he possibly has the most annoying site in the world so if you want to see more visit www.alextrochut.com

Marian Bantjes – I came across this girl years ago when reading an article and she is possibly my favourite typographic illustrator of all time. She expresses herself on various mediums like wood and her designs are out of this world. she has worked with many designers like Stefan Sagmeister and you can see why.

Si Scott – I came across this guy recently and was very impressed. His method of illustration type is contemporary but he takes it too a new level and uses contemporary elements and pushes it to the edge. Some of his work is just crazy and mind boggling.

Chuck Anderson – he is already a well famous illustrator and you can see why. I love his bright use of colours and glows he incorporates in his work. His hand drawn and computer skills are second to none and are absolutely fabulous.

Pierre Nguyen – This guys work is very abstract and somewhat mysterious. He incorporates alot of shapes in his work which symbolic in some way shape or form. The illustration “Gramophone” [can see below] has many symbolic messages he says, “The blur represents the liberation of music and the white triangle represents the diamond of stylus.” His work is very clever and contemporary. His website is www.welcometocloud.com
